About

A small Sasquatch with big curiosity.

TINYsquatch is a Pacific Northwest folklore character with mossy toes, a quiet sense of humor, and a soft spot for the kind of trail that ends at a waterfall.

The origin

TINYsquatch started where most folk tales do — at the edge of something familiar, just past where the trail map ends. He's not the giant of the old stories. He's tiny, mossy, and slightly shy. He notices things most hikers miss: the curl of a fern, the shape of a footprint, the way the light bends sideways through cedar bark.

He's not a mascot. He's a character — a small, watchful guide who treats the forest like a long conversation he's been part of since before any of us showed up. The boots get muddy. The stories stay honest. The moss keeps score.

The mission

We make short cinematic webisodes, honest trail reviews, and warmly opinionated gear rundowns — all from the perspective of a forest that's been paying attention for a very long time. The tone is family-friendly, the rating system is mossy toes, and the goal is to send you outside with a smile.

The setting

The Pacific Northwest — cedar groves, basalt cliffs, fog that arrives like an old friend. We hike Washington, Oregon, and the occasional surprise pocket of Idaho. If a trail is mossy and the light is good, we'll probably end up there.
